Autumn is such a dramatic season in the garden, and you can extend the life of your plants by harvesting them for stunning seasonal décor in the form of this eye-catching wreath. Use plants in an autumn palette and choose a variety of textures for a full, lush aesthetic. We selected pomegranates, smoke bush, echinacea pods, and peppermint tree clippings for their merlot and crimson pops of color, as well as eucalyptus, rosemary, pieris, and two types of oregano for verdant, textured foliage. Using a wire wreath frame and paddle wire, attach the plants by wrapping overlapping plant bundles to the base at different angles. Be sure to clump accent plants together so there’s a focal point. Trim as needed with pruners. The result is a stunning wreath to use as door or hearth décor. The plants chosen dry well for a long-lasting wreath, so you’ll get quite a bit of mileage out of it throughout the season.
